Wind and Current Analysis Software

We're developing software tools that analyze wind and current projections for a given date over a period of time. How does this work? Not simply :-)

There are some excellent wind models available from NOAA and other sources via an automated format called GRIB (Gridded Binary). And high/low tides are also available from NOAA and other sources. There are tidal current formulas that can be applied to specific latitude/longitude coordinates at specific times, based high and low tides.

We take these inputs and run them through our own computer model to evaluate the affect on wind and current at various locations that are projected for a race. And we render this in both a webpage and a PDF form so that you can view it online or print it to take on the course.
